Peter Kleboe: Artist Bio

Born on August 12, 1945, Peter Kleboe is a distinguished Scottish artist known for his contributions to the contemporary art scene. He attended the Glasgow School of Art from 1964 to 1969, where he earned a post-diploma in drawing and painting. During his studies, he was awarded the prestigious Cargill Travelling Scholarship, which allowed him to spend six enriching months in Italy, deepening his artistic vision and techniques.

Peter was an active member of the Glasgow League of Artists until its dissolution in the 1980s and is currently a valued member of the Glasgow Group. His artistic prowess has been recognized with numerous accolades, including the Robert Colquhoun Award.

Today, Peter continues to create captivating works, focusing on Bonsai and accent pots while also dedicating time to his paintings. His work is regularly exhibited with the Glasgow Group, reflecting his lasting influence and commitment to the arts within the vibrant Glasgow community.
